My teaching philosophy is pretty simple. Do what it takes to reach a child. Every child wants to learn, and every child has a different way of learning. A teacher must find what makes each child want to learn. I believe a teacher should go into each of the students homes and visit with the parents or guardians. This will let the teacher see what kind of support the students have, and it will let the parents know that you are serious about teaching. Let the parents know what you expect from them. There is nothing wrong whith a teacher letting the parents know in a nice way that you expect them to be a big part of their childs learning experience. I understand that this approach will not always work, but as a teacher we must try in every way possible. One great teacher can change the world.
